GRID SERIES RD 4 Bournemouth

Had a really good couple of nights racing in rounds 4 & 5 of the Grid Series.

Bournemouth couldn’t have gone much better. I got P1 in qualifying and then won race 1 after pulling away lap by lap. It was one of my most comfortable wins for a while.

That meant starting at the back for race 2 which is always hard with so many talented cadets in front. I got squeezed at the start into the first corner but recovered well with some early overtakes. Later in the race the leaders came together and I followed through into P2, then a few laps later made another move for P1 and got the win again. 🏆

By my maths, even with dropping the next round scores, I should have done enough to win the series overall… hopefully that’s right!
