Club100 - Llandow Round 5 ✅

First time racing at Llandow! There are loads of corners to learn, so the 10-minute pre event testing was really important to try and learn the lines.

Practice - Didn’t go how I wanted after what I learnt in the pre-event test. I’m definitely blaming the kart 😂 It felt slower than practice, and even on the long straight the kart in front was pulling away. But I still learnt loads from the drivers around me.

In qualifying I found nearly half a second and did a 54.9. That put me 11th in my group, but across all the groups I was P1 for the Pre B Final. I missed the A Final by just 0.003 seconds 👀

The Pre B Final was really tough. There were some super quick cadets behind me. Cassius flew past on lap one and ended up finishing really high in the A Final. Mega drive! I got pushed wide and lost a few places but fought back to finish P5.

The B Final was all about battling, I was back in the same car from qualifying so knew already it would be tough before I even started. There were lots of warnings and penalties in this one but I kept it clean and finished P6.

Not the result I was hoping for, but I learnt loads and had some really good racing.
