I really like racing at Eastleigh, it’s always a fun track.

Qualifying was hard because there were some really quick cadets on their home track. I was around P3/P4 most of the time, but on the last lap I managed to get P1 🔥

Race 1 (normal layout) started well. There was an incident behind me which gave me some space, so I focused and kept pushing. I pulled away lap by lap and finished P1, just beating my PB again.

Race 2 was reverse grid and I got kart 46, which had been about a second slower all night. Other drivers had already said the same, but it didn’t get changed. I was starting at the back with the slowest kart which isn’t a good mix.

I did the best I could with it and made my way up to P4. By then the top 3 had already pulled away and were about half a second a lap faster, so that’s where I finished.

It was a bit frustrating, but that’s rental racing.

I think this puts me P1 overall in the standings. 👍
